I became intrigued by the field of alternative medicine way back in 1984 after I had suffered with numerous bouts of severe abdominal pain. The
problem continued to be undiagnosed by medical practitioners until I went for my first Reiki session. It was suggested that I may have a problem in the region of my gall bladder. One ultrasound later it transpired my gall bladder had shrunk and needed immediate removal.
My interest in complementary therapies grew from there on and I experienced a variety of different therapies both in the UK and Europe to include: Traditional Thai Massage, Reflexology, Meditation, Tai Chi, Hopi Ear Candling and Indian Head Massage. My general interest in the field of energy work became expansive over the years and I trained to the level of Reiki Master with a direct training lineage to Dr Mikao Usui
With over 20 years of experience, I felt ready to pursue my on-going interest in Reiki and began to teach others. Energy work holds a great deal of fascination and application for me which I incorporate into all aspects of my work and life. The energy of the mind in connection with the energy of the body can never be underestimated.
Since then I have further developed my passion for energy work with the application of Qigong which I regularly practice. I have attended Master classes with the famous Wild Goose Qigong Master Dr Hu. I now train with Dr Jin Ye in Wu style Tai Chi & Qigong
